PIOTR PAKHOMKIN
PERFORMANCE & MASTERCLASS SERIES

Join award-winning Russian-American classical guitarist, Piotr Pakhomkin, before he makes his 2017 Carnegie Hall debut for an interactive concert experience. Piotr will give a solo recital and then coach a gifted young guitarist as they tackle very challenging repertoire, explaining every step of the process to audience members.

Limited free parking in the Lyceum parking lot.

Hailed by Classical Guitar Magazine as "one of the bright lights of the younger generation of classical musicians, a player of tremendous skill and sensitivity," Piotr Pakhomkin has extensively performed and given masterclasses in Europe, Central America, and the U.S. As the winner of the 2016 Respighi International Soloist Competition, he will make his concerto and solo debut at Carnegie Hall in the Chamber Orchestra of New York's "Masterwork Series" in March 2018. Piotr plays exclusively on a 2010 Ross Gutmeier Guitar using Oasis GPX strings.
